Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1
Your driver-guide meets you at Entebbe International Airport, takes you to your hotel in Kampala and briefs you on the trip.
Day 2
Drive north via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rhino trek, with lunch on the way, then continue to Murchison Falls National Park.
Day 3
A morning game drive on the north bank of the Nile for elephants, lions, giraffes and birds, then a boat cruise up the Victoria Nile to the foot of the falls.
Day 4
A long drive to Kibale National Park for the night.
Day 5
Track habituated chimpanzees in the forest and take the guided Bigodi Wetland walk.
Day 6
Drive south to the savannah of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 7
A morning game drive and an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for hippos and elephants.
Day 8
Drive through the Ishasha sector, known for tree-climbing lions, to your lodge near Bwindi.
Day 9
Briefing at park headquarters, then a trek to your gorilla family and one hour with them.
Day 10
Drive back to Kampala or Entebbe for your flight.
